Once upon a wintertime, a snow-family - The Flakes -
Were enjoying frozen dinners near the Central Park lakes.

"Can we take a vacation?" asked the tiny snowgirl.
The Flakes loved to talk travel, but never gave it a whirl.
They'd get cold feet & stay put in the city.
Flakes, indeed - it was such a pity!

|
All of sudden, a strong wind blew,
A newspaper landed somewhat askew.
They saw something special that caught their eye.
"Low fares to the Caribbean?"
They couldn't let that go by!
|
|
"Can we?" said the girl, her holiday wish.
"Woof, woof!" said the snowdog (which was "Bahamas!" in English).
The parents looked at each other, and their hearts simply melted.
"We can't stay long, but okay let's go!" they both belted.

The family bought tickets for a trip to remember.
"Have an ice time!" said a JetBlue crewmember.
Onboard, they found it easy to chill.
Lots of legroom & TVs were always a thrill.

Before they knew it, they were on land.
And very quickly, had their snowballs in the sand.
They lathered on sunscreen and felt the breeze on their face.
The beach was incredible; this was just the right place!

|
For 15 minutes, everything was dandy.
They even ran into their old cousin Sandy!
But the sun beamed down, and they started to sweat,
They had to hurry - and get back to the jet.

|
"Best family vacation ever!" they said in a craze.
